How to find the name of the (host) galaxy, in an image?

A13_23_ recently asked, in the Bug Reports Here thread, "How can I know the name of the galaxy in the image?"
I think it's a really good question! 😃 But it'll get lost in that thread 😦, so I started this one.
Anyone?

I'm not sure if you refer this:
- In Talk Galaxy zoo: radio, press link SDSS under the subject.
- In the SDSS navigation screen, click on the galaxy and press "explore" in the right panel.
- In this new screen you can see the SDSS number and ID, if you click in "Look up common name" you will see the name of the object in other catalogs.
- In the same screen in the left panel you can click in NED, SIMBAD, or ADS search to see more references about the object.

NED is the NASA Extragalactic Database (https://ned.ipac.caltech.edu/)
