That is really cool/weird!! Relic? Old radio emission? No redshift info on NED...

How oh how do you rule out 'chance alignment'?!?
If this were optical, I'd say #EELR (extended emission line region, a.k.a. some variant of a Voorwerpje) candidate, but it's not. Any way to tell if the diffuse radio fluff is predominantly line (21-cm?) emission?

to eliminate by chance alignment one needs redshift really. in this case multiwavelength data need to be investigated since as @mini.mintaka checked there's no redshift info in our most comprehensive database.

Yeah, sorry, my question was meant to be rhetorical (If NOT(NED),THEN {apply for Hubble/Gemini/Keck/etc time}).

FIRST contour overlay image of this strange source:
The image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk post. The object at the center of the image is SDSS J114436.66+110011.4. This is one of my Weird and Wonderful objects; see this thread for details.
