multiple messy sources

  • WizardHowl by WizardHowl

The radio emission is quite #messy in this image so it is hard to be sure of the IR counterparts, although the strongest of the radio emission in the centre is on top of the brightest IR source, which I marked as such. The emission on the lower left I associated with an IR source almost in between its two lobes, which would make it a #bent #doublelobe source. The radio emission on the lower right is only very slightly #diffuse and associated with a clear IR source. The structure of the central radio emission is very strange but the topmost part seems very round and bright - could this be a compact source in the background?

Yes, this is another #messy #groupofblackholes. If the round topmost blob is associated with a background galaxy, we can't tell from this image because the bright galaxy in front is blocking it 😦
