Large IR source beneath Radio contours

Not sure if IR source should a single position between radio contours or a series of IR locations combined almost like a tail. Large IR source appears as starfish like or ameoba shaped below radio contours.

The 'starfish' is mostly internal reflections and saturation caused by a particularly bright star.
In the WISE images, there's a hint that the central radio source is close to/overlapping an elongated object, perpendicular to the diffraction spike; I don't know if that's an artifact too, or whether it could be an Eos (edge-on spiral) (sadly, this field is outside the SDSS footprint). Maybe there's something on the POSS plates?

Nothing obvious on Digital Sky Survey, but it doesn't go as deep.
