Multiple Star System?

My first reaction to this would be to call it simple an "active galaxy", but the lobes are very compact, and the ir source is overwhelmingly bright. Airy disk is rather deformed, other than the diffraction spikes, and the telescope is away from the effects of the atmosphere. This might lead me to believe that is is an unresolved multiple star system, although it would not makes sense for there to be two lobes of hot gas.

Very likely: there's an AGN far in the background of the star, but it'd take some exceedingly nifty astronomical instruments - which do exist! - to tease the likely host/core out from under the glare of the MW star ...
