ARG0001ji9 - "ultra-steep radio spectrum"?
-
by JeanTate
One of the objects which is close to this bright, compact radio source is [WB92] 1500+3320 NED01, for which NED gives one reference: Rottgering+ 1994 "Samples of ultra-steep spectrum radio sources". I had a quick read of that, but there's too much I don't know about radio astronomy for me to make much sense of it ... other than that if the core/host is SDSS J150214.84+330937.4 it's likely to be unusual (USS sources seem to be associated with z > ~2 objects; the SDSS object has a z_ph of ~0.486. Anyone?
