ARG0002ifv - amazing field!

  • JeanTate by JeanTate

In NE quadrant, z_sp 0.459 SDSS J090537.62+172909.1 giant elliptical is the host of a very nice (restarted?) pair of jets.

Dead center is z_sp 0.280 SDSS J090536.39+172816.9 also a giant elliptical is the host of a #compact radio source ('head-on' view of jet?); nothing special (according to NED)

In NW quadrant is another IR-bright, #compact radio source, this one a z_sp 1.016 broadline quasar, so very likely a head-on view; SDSS J090532.05+172833.1

To the E is a possible #doublelobe, with the possible host located well away from the midpoint (if so, #asymmetric), faint optical/faint IR z_ph ~0.495 SDSS J090538.52+172803.5 (in same cluster as the first source?)

And in the SW quadrant, a radio faint/no-IR/no-optical source.

Yes, really an amazing field. Given your redshifts, looks like there's some possible connection, but otherwise superpositions. This is why computer algorithms fail!

Worth processing an image superposition of SDSS, WISE and First radio contours:
