3 Contour pairs

  Is it unusual to find so many pairs of contours?

  these are #artefacts that typically happen when there is a very strong radio source present nearby, as here. They follow hexagonal lines in FIRST and are a product of the way the image analysis is done - NVSS does not show anything but the bright #doublelobe as it used different instruments and processing, so artefacts do not have the same appearance in both.
