Pretty unusual field. Not clear these "stars" are connected with the radio object.

Indeed; the host of the hourglass source seems to be invisible in SDSS gri [1] (smoothed FIRST contours in red):
[1] an RGB JPEG produced, by SDSS, using the three bands g (as B ), r (as G), and i (as R)
