Now that I have, touch wood, got my browser to stop displaying crazy things (see this thread for details), I'm going to produce SDSS images overlaid with FIRST contours [1] of selected, hopefully interesting, objects posted in any of the The Objects sections of RGZ Talk.
The host of the hourglass seems to be invisible in the SDSS image, and the host of the compact is the S of the 'merger' pair.
