THE RADIO SOURCE IS 1 NOT BRIGHT OR LARGE GALAXY.
TO THE EAST THERE IS 1 SMALL SPIRAL GALAXY & 1 LARGE SPIRAL GALAXY.Posted

The compact radio source in the lower right of the image is connected to the smaller spiral galaxy in the SDSS image. The radio source in the centre of the image is most likely connected to a high redshift galaxy and not related to the spiral galaxies.

Very nice image, 1001G! 😃
I love the SDSS ones which also include at least one nearby galaxy/faraway galaxy overlap, at least one MW star, and an asteroid, as this one does ... from right at home here in our own solar system, all the way out to ~5 billion years (more?) or so away, with many waystations between, all in the one image ... imagine that ... 😮 😄

Jean wrote an "Object of the Day" article (GZ forum) about it.:
http://www.galaxyzooforum.org/index.php?topic=281941.msg661610#msg661610She created following image with contours.:
She did following comment.:
The apparent source of the strong radio emission seen by FIRST is SDSS J103250.26+155116.8, which SDSS thinks is a STAR.
