ARG0001qko Green long cloud or what is it?

    Above ARG0001qko radio source is this green length that looks like a cloud. It looks real. Is it a cloud? What is it?
    On each side of the green cloud are stars and galaxies. Are they lighting up the cloud?
    When you click on the green cloud SDSS says star or galaxy whether or not there is star or galaxy near it.
    Is there a explanation for the green cloud.

    It's an artifact, likely a satellite trail (though it could be an aircraft).

    The reason it starts suddenly, rather than crossing the entire field, is that it's in only one of the SDSS Fields which comprise this image.

    Here's the field, zoomed out a bit, with Field boundaries added (note that they overlap somewhat, by design):

    As the two Fields were imaged at quite different times, the satellite is visible in only one. And as it (the satellite) is moving, it crosses only one of the filter fields (the r-band one).
