J103403.84+184048.9 - giant doublelobe?

  • JeanTate by JeanTate

From the Interesting things from NVSS survey thread, started by Dolorous Edd (page 2):

The host is likely SDSS J103403.84+184048.9 - J103403.84+184048.9

    NVSS 0.18 degree

    Giant #doublelobe indeed!

There clearly is a FIRST source coincident with the ETG; if it has an ARG ID, I have been unable to find it.

Here's the host, SDSS J103403.84+184048.9, a broadline AGN, and its spectrum:

Boilerplate: SDSS image per http://skyservice.pha.jhu.edu/DR10/ImgCutout/getjpeg.aspx, FIRST (red) and NVSS (cyan) contours derived from FITS files produced using SkyView with Python code described in this RGZ Talk thread. Image center per the SDSS object (J2000.0). "z_sp" is the SDSS spectroscopic redshift of the galaxy in the center.

    I am just curious

Given that the source is from " you have to be a blind to miss it " category and even have measured redshift

It has to be KNOWN, right?
