ARG0002klm - doublelobe with odd shape, odd host

  • JeanTate by JeanTate

Is it really a doublelobe? Is the host z_ph 0.353 ± 0.0794/0.319 ± 0.1201 SDSS J135253.47+163017.5? Is the host a boring elliptical, or something more exciting?

Boilerplate: SDSS image per http://skyservice.pha.jhu.edu/DR10/ImgCutout/getjpeg.aspx, FIRST (red) contours derived from FITS file produced using SkyView with Python code described in this RGZ Talk thread. Image center near the ARG image (left; J2000.0). "z_ph" is the SDSS photometric redshift of the galaxy in the center.
