SDSS J154509.19+081209.3/ARG0003842 - what's the red blob?

SDSS J154509.19+081209.3 (ObjId 1237661950276731103) has a spectroscopic redshift of 0.231, and its spectrum does not seem to me to contain a second redshift system.
However, there's an odd red blob to the NW of the nucleus, almost arc-shaped; too, there's a similarly-colored point source on the opposite side of the nucleus (albeit further away). Gravitational lens? Foreground red star+ background galaxy (chance alignments)? Something reddened by dust?? An EELR (extended emission line region)???
