ARG0002g7r/SDSS J150601.36+182552.3 IR/optical/radio offset? What is the radio morphology?

  • JeanTate by JeanTate

In ARG0002g7r, z_ph 0.64 SDSS J150601.36+182552.3 appears to be the host ... but it's apparently offset from the central radio position (and IR too?). What does that indicate?

Also, the radio morphology seems odd: #corejet or #coreplume plus an isolated faint blob which is not aligned with the jet/plume.

    Any ideas what's going on?

A FIRST/SDSS overlay doesn't make things any clearer:

So, what is the radio morphology? And is the host truly invisible in both WISE and SDSS?

The image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk post. The object at the center of the image is SDSS J150601.36+182552.3
