    Such a powerful radio source, with peak emission consistent with the galaxy nucleus, yet the optical spectrum shows no sign of an AGN, and the nucleus is not particularly QSO-like ... how come?

    Is the N radio source related, making this a really strange triple? I'll add a zoomed-out, FIRST+NVSS contour overlay image later.

    The source in the south west may be the host galaxy. The source in the north looks unrelated. Indeed a complex object.
