ARG00011hk: what would you say the morphology of the host is?

The host of the classic #doublelobe in ARG00011hk is SDSS J150932.96+420955.6. It looks, um, strange:
What are the red blobs, on either side of the bulge?

Hi Jean,
My suspicion is that the "red blobs" correspond to unresolved star-forming regions within the disk of this galaxy. Reason is because if you go through each of the SDSS filters that you can extract out of Skyview, the blobs only appear in the i-filter but not the z-filter where this galaxy's Halpha line should be according the the spectrum.
Does this help? SDSS is not really deep enough to say much at the redshift of this object.
cheers,

Thanks Ivy. I'll dig into this a bit more when I have a chance.
