ARG0002wsb: voorwerpjie

In the center of ARG0002wsb is zsp 0.030 SDSS J220141.64+115124.4; a very interesting galaxy:

This is one of the 'voorwerpjies' - diminutive form of Voorwerp, in Dutch (I think) - which were discovered by GZ zooites. They were first written up in Keel+ (2012), and eight were imaged by the Hubble Space Telescope (and studied using data from other telescopes too), with a write-up in Keel+ (2015); the latter has some really cool images in it!

Oh, and the formal name for the clouds ionized by the AGN is EELRs, extended emission line regions (they show as purple fuzz in the SDSS image above). Some of the #green hosts of FIRST radio emission seem to have very prominent EELRs (see the Green galaxies associated with RGZ sources thread for more details, and the Not sure what's happening... thread for a possible, recent, example)
