ARG0000u0e, messy doublelobe and possible SDRAGN candidate?

  • ChrisMolloy by ChrisMolloy

    Here's ARG0000u0e. This seems to be a very messy #extended #doublelobe.

The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
    thread.

The host appears be SDSS J084710.57+454025.6, a disk galaxy, or maybe a spiral galaxy, centred near the top NE edge of the W lobe. It has a z_ph=0.301 ± 0.0459, and NED lists it as the host of the radio emission. It also looks to be slightly #green.

There are a number of ALLWISE sources in the vicinity, which could also be possible candidates. The Aladin image below shows the same contour image above, but with ALLWISE sources as red dots.

There are some processing artefacts in the radio image but certainly and complicated source or sources. Not sure if the lobes are related to the spiral though.
