ARG0003kjs, #overedge giant?

  • ChrisMolloy by ChrisMolloy

    Here's ARG0003kjs, a possible #overedge, #giant.

The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
    thread.

If these lobes are a giant, it has a size of ~ 3.9' form the SE to the NW. The centre lobe First core is ~5.5" NE of the star, SDSS J110003.35+035708.5. There is an ALLWISE references for the star, ALLWISE J110003.34+035708.5, but no apparent host for the centre lobe, as per the classification comments left.

    SDSS J110003.35+035708.5

The NW lobe is centred on J105959.4+035836 in the ALADIN image below, which is not listed as a photometric object in SDSS.

Approximately ~13" to the E of J105959.4+035836, is SDSS J110000.26+035834.2, a very faint galaxy, with a z_ph=0.370 ± 0.0722, which does have an NVSS reference in NED.

And the SE lobe is ~ 9.5" E of SDSS J110007.34+035541.3, which has a z_ph=0.365 ± 0.1053, and does also have an NVSS reference in NED.

    SDSS J110007.34+035541.3

Hard to say whether this is a #giant or not.
