ARG0000s67 ifrs?

  • ChrisMolloy by ChrisMolloy

    Here's ARG0000s67, a #doublelobe. This emission appears to be #no-optical, #no-ir, and possibly an #ifrs emission.

The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
    thread.

As per the classification comments left, tracking down a host for this emission, is problematic. There are radio references for SDSS J114404.69+463322.4 in NED and SIMBAD, just slightly NE of this galaxy, which has a z_ph=0.298 ± 0.0622, and an ALLWISE reference, ALLWISE J114404.79+463322.3.

There is a SIMBAD reference for [VV98] J114407.0+463306 -- Quasar, which is near the centre of the lobes. The cross below marks the location of this object. This has a redshift listing of z(~) 0.092 [~] , although SIMBAD doesn't state whether this is a spectrum, or photometric log. Also, there appears to possibly be an ALLWISE reference at this location, ALLWISE J114406.19+463315.0.

Finally, there is a radio reference for SDSS J114404.98+463336.5 in NED, which appears to be a very faint #green galaxy. This object has a z_ph=0.298 ± 0.0708.

However, despite all of the above, this could just be an #ifrs.

    As always, comments, suggestions, welcome.
