ARG0003qsx, morphology, hosts?
-
by ChrisMolloy
Here's ARG0003qsx, which appears to be a single #lobe with a slightly bent tail, and a #compact lobe to the SE. There is also a cross reference for this ARG field in How to describe the radio morphology? thread.
The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
thread. First in red, NVSS cyan.In terms of a host for this emission, there is an NVSS reference in NED for SDSS J103029.62+013453.8, which has a z_ph=0.706 ± 0.0849, and is slightly north of the First lobe. There is also an ALLWISE reference just SE of this object, ALLWISE J103029.88+013449.5. This is on the N edge of the First lobe. This galaxy appears to be #green.
There is extended NVSS emissions to the north and northwest of SDSS J103029.62+013453.8, but it is uncertain whether these lobes are related to SDSS J103029.62+013453.8, and the First emission.
As for the #compact First lobe to the SE, the is an NVSS reference for SDSS J103036.43+013329.9, which has a z_ph=0.175 ± 0.1714, and radio references in Simbad. This object is again slightly NE of the First lobe. The NVSS emission also appears to extend SE & SW, although in a more diffuse form.
Finally, both these First and NVSS lobes appear separate and not related.
As always, comments, suggestions, welcome.
