ARG00026wa, one emission, hosts?

  • ChrisMolloy by ChrisMolloy

Here ARG00026wa, which appears to be two #compact lobes centre, an #hourglass to the SSW, and a #core-jet NNE. This ARG field is cross referenced in the How to describe the radio morphology? thread.

The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
    thread.
First contours in red, Wise Band 1 lime green.

The issue with this morphology seems to be what is it, either four separate emissions, or one related emission? And then there is the question of what is, or are, the hosts, if any?

As per the classification comments left, if this is one emission an apparent host could be SDSS J081436.72+224249.6, which has a DR6 z_ph=1.915 +/-0.021. This object is slightly east of the centre First lobes and is listed as a star. There is an associated ALLWISE reference just to the west of this object, aligned with the First lobes, ALLWISE J081436.42+224250.3.

    SDSS J081436.72+224249.6

There are radio references listed in NED, but none seem to align with the First emissions. Another alternative, as suggested in the How to describe the radio morphology? thread, is that none of these emissions have an ir or optical host.

    As, always, comments, suggestions, welcome.
