ARG0000te0, restarted, bent, doublelobe

  • ChrisMolloy by ChrisMolloy

Here's ARG0000te0, which appears to be a #restarted #doublelobe. This ARG field is cross referenced in the How to describe the radio morphology? thread.

The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
    thread.
    First in red.

The host for the emission appears to be SDSS J131508.81+455846.4, which is listed as a #QSO, has recorded First flux emission in SDSS DR14, and has a z_sp=0.462 +/-0.00008. This object has radio references in NED and SIMBAD, and an ALLWISE reference, ALLWISE J131508.83+455846.3.

In the How to describe the radio morphology? thread the comment has been raised as to what is the emission in the centre of the lobes. The comments from this thread states:

the inner part of the W lobe, (is) almost like a separate jet at an angle.

Here's the First cut-out which illustrates this better, and it has been noted further in this thread that this emission could also be #bent.

    As always, comments, suggestions, welcome.
