ARG0003git, hourglass, hosts?

  • ChrisMolloy by ChrisMolloy

Here's ARG0003git, which appears to be an #hourglass.

The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
    thread.
First contours in red, Wise Band 3 teal.

The host for this emission could be SDSS J102532.40+051914.0, which has a z_ph=0.186 ± 0.0205. This object is a strong ir source, and has an ALLWISE reference, ALLWISE J102532.45+051914.1. There doesn't appear to be any other radio references for this galaxy in NED, nor SIMBAD.

To the south of SDSS J102532.40+051914.0, there are radio references in NED for SDSS J102532.44+051903.7, which is a faint galaxy, with a z_ph=0.873 ± 0.0479. There does appear to be a slightly diffuse or extended Wise Band 3 contour, centred on or near this galaxy, as can be seen in the contour overlay image above, although It should be noted that it is hard to ascertain whether this is just noise.

Finally there is a radio reference in SIMBAD, which is centred slightly SE of SDSS J102532.40+051914.0, and NE of SDSS J102532.44+051903.7. This position seems to coincide with the larger centre lobe.

    As always, comments, suggestions, welcome.
