FIRST J105425.4+061853 host galaxy

I have found this high redshift object.
Red galaxy with #doublelobe radio source.
The hosted galaxy is SDSS J105424.97+061855.4 (SDSS 12 datas) and it is equivalent with WISE J105424.94+061855.1 #infrared source.
Redshift (zph) datas from V/147/sdss12: 0.588-0.8143

    Cool, eh? 😃

Here is the SDSS DR14 Explore webpage for the host (SDSS J105424.97+061855.4); it gives the photometric redshift (which we often abbreviate as zph) as 0.814 ± 0.0514.

Any galaxy with such a redshift would look deep red in an SDSS image, just as this one does (if you find one that's not deep red, call attention to it!). These are somewhat unusual finds here in RGZ but not particularly rare (in my experience).

Hope this helps, and happy hunting! 😃
