ARG0003ptb, hourglass and one-sided lobe
-
by ChrisMolloy
Here's ARG0003ptb, which appears to be an #hourglass, and to the NW of this emission, a #one-sided or #head-tail lobe. The contour image below is centred WNW of the ARG co-ordinates listed left, positioned on SDSS J152625.79+015732.5.
The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
thread. First in red, NVSS cyan. The apparent host for the #hourglass appears to be SDSS J152630.18+015635.4, which has a z_ph=0.310 ± 0.0258. This object has radio references in NED and an ALLWISE reference, ALLWISE J152630.15+015635.3. This galaxy seems to have #red and #green-outflows.
The #one-sided or #head-tail emission to the NW seems to have its core lobe positioned on SDSS J152625.85+015717.8, which has a z_ph=0.314 ± 0.0219. This galaxy has an ALLWISE reference, ALLWISE J152625.86+015718.4. Again, this object appears to have #green-outflows.
There is a radio reference in NED for SDSS J152625.74+015725.0, which appears to be a #green galaxy and has a z_ph=0.563 ± 0.1033. This object is positioned near the centre eastern edge of the NW lobe.
Finally, it should be noted that this ARG field does seem to be in a #cluster environment.
As always, comments, suggestions, welcome.
