ARG0003oan, doublelobe and two compact lobes
-
by ChrisMolloy
Here's ARG0003oan, which appears to be a #doublelobe centre, and a couple of #compact lobes to the east of the centre emission.
The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
thread. First in red.The host for the #doublelobe appears to be SDSS J124602.71+023058.6, which has a z_ph=0.588 ± 0.0695. This object has radio references in NED and and ALLWISE reference, ALLWISE J124602.71+023058.5.
The #compact lobe, just east of the #doublelobe, appears to be centred on SDSS J124604.18+023053.2, which has a z_ph=0.621 ± 0.0449. This object has recorded First flux emission, and an ALLWISE reference, ALLWISE J124604.18+023052.9. There doesn't appear to be any radio references in NED nor SIMBAD for this galaxy.
And furtherest east is what appears to be an extended #compact lobe. There is an ALLWISE reference for this lobe, ALLWISE J124607.71+023055.5, but there doesn't appear to be a photometric object listed at this position in SDSS.
As always, comments, suggestions, welcome.
