ARG0001ypi, doublelobe

  • ChrisMolloy by ChrisMolloy

Here's ARG0001ypi which appears to be an #overedge, First, #doublelobe, emission. The contour overlay below is centred on SDSS J111632.28+260151.6, which is SE of the ARG co-ordinates listed left.

The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
    thread.
    First in red, NVSS cyan.

A possible host for the emission could be SDSS J111632.28+260151.6
, which has a z_ph=0.105 ± 0.0302. There doesn't appear to be any radio references in NED nor SIMBAD for this object, but there is an ALLWISE reference, ALLWISE J111632.28+260151.8.

    SDSS J111632.28+260151.6

Of note, this object also appears to be slightly #green.

    As always, comments, suggestions, welcome.

Apparently little or no core emission in FIRST; maybe VLASS could help? I agree that SDSS J111632.28+260151.6 seems the most likely host.

It appears that this hasn't been imaged in VLASS yet.
