ARG000206u, wat

  • ChrisMolloy by ChrisMolloy

Here's ARG000206u, which appears to be a #wat. The contour overlay below is centred on SDSS J162037.18+252051.9, which is SE of the ARG co-ordinates listed left.

The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
    thread.

A possible host for the emission could be SDSS J162037.18+252051.9, which has a z_sp=0.108 +/- 0.00003. This object has recorded First flux emission, and radio references in NED.

Another possible host is SDSS J162037.00+252053.6, which has a z_sp=0.103 +/- 0.00002. This object also has a radio reference in NED. It also seems that this galaxy is partially #overlapping SDSS J162037.18+252051.9.

And finally, SIMBAD lists a radio reference which is positioned in the centre of the SE lobe. There doesn't appear to be a photometric object in SDSS DR14 at this position, and a number of those references seem to be the same as those cited in NED for SDSS J162037.18+252051.9.

    As always, comments, suggestions, welcome.

A note. There are possibly ALLWISE references for these objects, but Aladin's Survey in VizieR service is not working at the moment. I will update this data, if applicable, when this function is up and running again.
