ARG0002blp: #overlap? #hybrid? #radiostar??

  • JeanTate by JeanTate

The SW lobe ~coincides with an IR and optical source (though the optical ID may be poor), zph 0.525 ± 0.2317 SDSS J165035.32+203600.1. If this is the host of this radio source, it's odd ... the shape looks for all the world like it's a lobe with an axis pointing towards the two other radio sources.

The NE lobe has a strange shape, a bit like a distorted #bijet, with #core slightly offset from STAR SDSS J165040.25+203700.6. However it too has an axis pointing towards the other two radio sources, so maybe it hints at being #restarted, or even #hybrid?

Somewhat offset from the midpoint of the two lobes is the third radio source, faint (it's a #1-contour), and apparently coinciding with STAR SDSS J165039.79+203650.5. There's nothing more, in NED, than SDSS on this STAR, so it could be a distant/faint QSO; the three radio sources would be consistent with this.

    What do you think?

I think possibly some sort of #overlap NE lobe. NE lobe is #unusual.
