NGC 3726, spiral galaxy, compact lobe and possible diffuse emission
-
by ChrisMolloy
Here's NGC 3726, a #spiral galaxy. This object has a First #compact lobe to the NE of its centre, and the NVSS contours hint at #diffuse emissions to the S and SSE.
The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
thread. First in red, NVSS cyan.NGC 3726, has an NED z_sp=0.002887 +/- 0.000003, and radio references in NED and SIMBAD. It also has an ALLWISE reference, ALLWISE J113321.11+470145.2.
This object has not been imaged in VLASS as yet.
As always, comments, suggestions welcome.
