ARG000377k, extended emission, SDRAGN candidate
-
by ChrisMolloy
Here's ARG000377k, which appears to be an extended #compact lobe.
The contour overlay image in this post was created from sources, and using methods, described in this RGZ Talk
thread. First in red.The host for the emission is SDSS J120611.32+083144.5, a #spiral galaxy, which has a z_sp=0.199 +/-0.00001. This object has recorded First flux emission, radio references in NED and SIMBAD, and an ALLWISE reference, ALLWISE J120611.33+083145.0. This galaxy is an #SDRAGN candidate, due to the emission covering the entirety of the object, and is #green in colour.
This ARG field hasn't been imaged in VLASS as yet.
As always, comments, suggestions, welcome.

Certainly suggestive of extended radio emission - hence an #sdragn candidate - but I think higher resolution radio observations are needed ...
