Radio Galaxy Zoo Talk

What is this?

The radio image appears to show an image of a plume-looking awesome galaxy, but infrared shows nothing. And the image is symmetrical so likewise I am skeptical. Any opinions/explanations as to whether it is real or not?

This is an #artifact. The radio source is the circular shape and another #IFRS (maybe). The 'x' shape comes from the image creation.

an artifact! 😃 note how those 'wings' are repeated across the image - that will immediately tell you that they are not real sources
