What is this long, narrow band of IR?

ARG0000z1j contains a long, narrow band of IR signal - just curious about what it could be.

It's a diffraction spike, a kind of artifact, caused by a bright star off-stage (towards the top). You can see it in this (very zoomed-out!) SDSS image (the diffraction spikes go in different directions):
