I want to understand: the radio source is very large, while the IR source is small. What does it mean in this case?

Hi @roder53! A nice example to illustrate what is happening here 😃
The main thing that we are looking in here are the radio jets and lobes (the large radio sources) created in the host galaxy (the IR source) ejected from the vicinity of the supermassive black hole. These jets are relativistic and very powerful and often extend way way outside the host galaxy that we are used to seeing in optical (or IR).

But feel free to ask questions is that's not clear 😃
