This puzzles me

At first I thought the source of this was the IR coinciding with the brightest part of the radio emission. SDSS classifies this as a star, although it looks too fuzzy to be a star to me. Hmm! The source coinciding with the weak radio emission just to the north, which SDSS says is a QSO with a redshift of 0, seems a better candidate but am I right thinking the redshift seems too low?
Finally how to interpret what we are seeing? My best guess is a core (the QSO ) creating a jet which terminates in a, possibly relativistic ally brightened, shock front (the brightest region of radio emission) before billowing out into some sort of plume thereafter. Does this seem reasonable? And what hashtag best fits this interpretation? I'd like to hear what other people think.
