ARG0003rgd - two hosts within a radio contour; how to mark them both?
-
by JeanTate
In the center is an extended radio contour, possibly a #corejet. The host for most of this radio emission is, I think, the object near the peak emission. So far, so straight-forward.
However, to the S is another IR source, which may be the host of the S-trending lobe of the extended radio emission. In other words, two possible hosts within the one - composite - radio source (per the contours).
How can one mark this second possible host?

Good question as always. In this case where the southern source is not completely separate, the only way to tell us is to mark both the IR sources as possible hosts.
Does this help?

Thanks Ivy.
Yes, that's a big help ... strange as it may seem, I did not know that you could mark more than one host for a single (extended) radio source ...
