bright hourglass with no IR counterpart

    The bright radio emission in the centre of this image looks like an #hourglass but has no corresponding source in the IR, which is unusual - most #ifrs candidates I come across are bright compact sources (similar to that near the left edge here, only brighter).

    I think it's probably pretty common, and the real problem is that there are so many IR sources in the field that we are overlapping at random in many cases. This is something we are going to have to look at quite carefully on the science team.
