Two radio contours with two IR sources, a binary system?

  What might be the apparent binary system? Or maybe it is actually two different systems separated some distance away?

  Looks like an unusual case of two nearby radio sources -- you can click on SDSS and see the two galaxies, which are far enough apart that they're not likely interacting with each other. However, they may have similar redshifts (both around 0.5) so they are probably part of the same physical system (a distant cluster, etc). Nice catch!
