I think I've read somewhere on this site that some jets are caused by mergers, is this an example?

Mergers is one of the scenario that astronomers have theorised for the fueling of activity in a supermassive black hole. However not all large merger systems have jets. Typical galaxies with radio jets are large elliptical galaxies. Does this help?
