what is this

  • Marcel_R. by Marcel_R.

please look in the top left corner. In the radiocontour we see a brighter spot (realy small).
If u make a change to part IR and part RC you can see that it is placed next to a star.
In order you choose the IR picture, you´ll see that it shines here, too.
The question is,how can we interprete this? Is it just a technical mistake.

    Hi Marcel R.

The question is,how can we interprete this?

If you click on the FIRST link, you'll see that this 'double pixel radio contour' is very faint, and could likely be a bright spot of 'noise'; i.e. an artifact. The position close to the IR star is a coincidence, IMHO; these sorts of coincidences are very common in my experience, and sometimes happen with almost-certainly real radio sources (and certainly real IR ones) too.

    Hope this helps 😃
