Galaxy?

I was wondering if I would be correct in assuming that the large IR saturation is not associated with the radio source? It looks to me as if the radio source is quite some distance behind the IR source in this image?

You can see, in this SDSS image, that the host (photometric redshift (zph) 0.057±0.016 SDSS J135618.81+181734.3) is close (on the sky!) to a bright star (SDSS J135617.74+181722.6):

Hope this helps, and happy hunting! 😃

Jean, I hope you don't mind me thanking you for your responses in one go? I recognize your name as someone who provided such valuable responses for a long time now, so I wanted to let you know that they are appreciated very much by someone who has hardly any technical knowledge but loves how simplified this tool makes it to see such amazing things! To be able to also get responses from people with such passion for the REAL science and even technical analysis of some of the even more interesting features is ace.

So yes, it does help! In more or less words...

    Thank you!
