SDSS J221733.84+063538.9:
The lime-green is (almost certainly) an artifact (but colorful) 😦

Why do you think that is an artefact? I looked at a larger image and I don't see anything else in the image that would say to me that this is an artefact.
Note: not the host of the radio emission in the centre of the image. Object located to the south-west (bottom-right) of the central galaxy.

The color (it's a pure green, suggesting just a single SDSS band), and the fact that I've come across quite a few of these sorts of things in my time doing Galaxy Zoo (SDSS) classifications

Yeah, this star has nothing to do with any radio emission (at least, not FIRST); it's just a cool thing ...

Thanks JeanTate. I haven't looked at many SDSS images before.

Not quite the same, but here are two similar artifacts (the field is ARG0001z6s, and the host of the almost #triple FIRST source is hidden in the glare of the bright star to the E); centered on SDSS J164004.93+254927.5:
Alternatively, "green blobs" are relatively common, and are often found near (red) stars! 😉
