Radio Galaxy Zoo Talk
What is the IR streak? A meteorite, lightning in Earth atmosphere?
Do radio waves bend around a big IR like a lens?
only source? http://third.ucllnl.org/cgi-bin/firstimage?RA=14.0 53.0 37.63&Dec=%2B22.0 43.0 27.0&Equinox=J2000&ImageSize=9&MaxInt=10
I missed marking the upper left source
only something showing on WISE Band 4 for lower source
I picked this dimmer IR because of the uniformity of the jets and their equal proximity to the dim IR If they came from the bright source
I thought this must be a pair from the intense one on the right which is so strong? Is there a mathematical way to identify the connections?
are some of the IR points quite dim?
the appearance of the lower beam suggests to me the IR must be directly behind but nothing is showing???????
#odd #jets?
I chose 2 obvious IR. Can massive IRs distort shape of radio so the small IR to the L of big one could be source of both?
#symmetric?
second point I haven't marked. may be bigger if not on dark cross lines
possible four radio emissions but three marked with contours
I think this is a wild guess! The only reason I considered it was again because of the criss-cross scans and blackouts ? better pic?
pretty hopeless guess as the IR is so big!
scan lines show on extreme radio - would the result be different with more?
Thanks Dolorous I suspected it. On FIRSTJ164134.5+374102 the image won't let me mark the smallest so i have just had to put "no IR" ??
Am I right to assume this is two radio from the central one?
please tell me if the pink blob is IR
these 2 contour spots are over dull IR patches - are they bright enough to mark? Am I doing this right?
#complex looks like 2 radio, one compact and one with two jets?
#bent #complex #lens
#?arc #?lens
The radio image seems to show pick-up of waves from three directions. Is this how the image is collected?
What is showing as a jet in the IR?
#lens by IR star??? hiding radio source??
looks as if all 4 come from one place?
